A St. Augustine Electrician With 50 Five-Star Reviews Gets a Website Built for St. Augustine
Jesse Ellowitz runs Ellowitz Electric South from a shop on US-1 in St. Augustine and lives in Nocatee. His old website was aimed at Jacksonville Beach. The new one, launched October 20, 2026, is built around the towns he actually works in.

A St. Augustine Shop With a Jacksonville Beach Website
Ellowitz Electric South is a licensed Florida electrical contractor (FL LIC# EC13013683) with a shop at 6236 US Hwy 1 N in St. Augustine. Owner Jesse Ellowitz and his crew handle panel upgrades, Generac generators, EV chargers and Jellyfish lighting for homes and businesses across St. Johns County.
Customers were already sold. The Google listing had 50 reviews, every one of them five stars. The website didn't match. It was a WordPress site whose homepage title said "Licensed Electricians in Jacksonville Beach, FL", a town up the coast from the shop and the Google listing. The blog ran on stock photos.
Jesse signed with us in October 2026 for a new website, local SEO, AI SEO and Google Business Profile management. He had one firm rule: no stock photos and no AI images anywhere on the site.
A Homepage That Says St. Augustine Electrician
The homepage is now the St. Augustine page, because St. Augustine is where the shop and the Google listing are. It opens with a service picker, so a homeowner with a dead panel or a new EV taps their job and lands on the right page.
A Page for Every Job and Every Town Jesse Serves
We built the site around the work Jesse wants more of, then gave each town he covers its own page with its own map.
Service Pages for the Jobs That Matter
Each service has its own page, written in plain language for the homeowner searching for it, with a quote form and a call button on every one:
Town Pages Written for Each Town
Jesse lives in Nocatee, so the Nocatee page says so, and it names the neighborhoods he works in, from Twenty Mile to Del Webb Ponte Vedra. Every town page carries a real Google Map of that town:
Only Jesse's Own Photos and Video
Jesse sent us 39 job photos and 8 video clips, and that's all the site uses: real panels, real generators and the company's white trucks. The About page plays short clips from his job sites. The stock images on the old blog were replaced too.
All 50 Reviews, With Dates
The 5.0 rating sits at the top of every page. The reviews page shows every Google review, newest first, including the ones customers left with stars and no words. New reviews come in from Google each time the site is built.
Every Old Link Kept Working
The old WordPress sitemap listed 260 addresses. On launch day we checked every one: 25 still load at the same address, and the other 235 redirect to the closest new page. Rankings and links the old site earned carry over instead of ending in an error page.
Live on October 20, 2026
Jesse approved the site and it went live on www.ellowitzsouth.com on October 20, 2026. On a simulated phone that day, Google's Lighthouse audit scored the homepage 100 for accessibility and 100 for SEO.
Every quote request from the site arrives with the page and search that brought it in, so Jesse and we can both see which pages bring in work. The form has spam protection that doesn't make customers solve a puzzle.
Local SEO, AI SEO and Google Business Profile Work Start Now
With the site live, our local SEO and AI SEO work begins: getting the St. Augustine homepage, the service pages and the town pages found on Google and named in AI answers for the searches St. Johns County homeowners make.
We also manage the Google Business Profile, matching its address, services and links to the new site. We'll add the ranking and call numbers here once there are a few months to show.
How the site is built
Built with Astro
A static-first framework that ships zero JavaScript by default. Pages arrive already built, so there is nothing for a phone to assemble before somebody can read them.
Hosted on Cloudflare
Served from the edge location nearest the visitor, so the site is as quick two states away as it is down the road. No server to manage, and nothing to fall over at 2am.
Core Web Vitals
Optimised images, minimal CSS and no render-blocking scripts. Run the site through Google's own PageSpeed Insights and see for yourself.
Schema markup
Electrician, Service, FAQ and Breadcrumb structured data tells Google what Ellowitz Electric South does, which towns it serves and when it's open.
Jesse's customers gave him 50 five-star reviews. His old website was pointed at the wrong town.
Now St. Augustine, Nocatee and Ponte Vedra Beach each have a page, with his own photos and every review behind it.
