You don't need to be an SEO expert to judge an SEO company. These five checks work on anyone, us included. A good agency will be glad you asked.
You should be able to see every call and form, and where each one came from, without waiting on the agency to tell you.
Rankings and traffic matter. A good report ties them to calls and booked work. If yours never mentions leads, ask why.
Ask what they worked on this month and why. You should get a plain answer. Vague ones are a warning sign.
If every question goes through an account manager who has to check with someone else, small problems take weeks to fix.
