Enterprise SEO experience from Thomson Reuters, Credit Sesame, and Salem Web Network. We have a small in-house team plus a network of copywriters, designers, photographers, and ad specialists, so production scales without the work being handed to junior staff.
Michael Rupe
Michael has 27 years of SEO experience. Before starting the agency, he spent over a decade in-house at companies including Credit Sesame (500% organic growth in 9 months), FindLaw by Thomson Reuters (+8M organic visits year over year), and Salem Web Network (106% traffic growth across six major websites).
He founded the agency in 2013 to bring that caliber of work to businesses that don't have a Fortune 500 marketing budget. Taylor came on as co-founder a few years later, bringing his own SEO experience plus the development side, and the agency has run as a family operation ever since. Michael handles strategy, client relationships, and campaign direction across the whole client roster.
Taylor Rupe
Taylor has been doing SEO for 11 years, since age 16. He started as a content writer working under Michael (his dad), grew into content management, then ran WordPress sites at scale before moving into the technical and development side. The combined background is why he can write a piece of pillar content one day and rebuild the site architecture under it the next.
Today Taylor is a senior SEO strategist on every account alongside Michael, and he also leads development on every site we ship. He handles design, frontend and backend code, hosting infrastructure, performance optimization, and the technical SEO implementation that ties it all together.
The psychology degree shapes how he thinks about user behavior and conversion. The computer science degree is the engineering foundation under everything we build. The 11 years of SEO is how he knows the difference between a fast site and a fast site that ranks.
