The Challenge

AvilaCo Drywall is a family-owned drywall company based in Battle Ground, WA, serving Vancouver and the rest of Clark County, plus Cowlitz County communities including Longview, Kelso, Woodland, and Kalama. They had a basic website that didn't reflect the quality of their work or the range of services they offer. It wasn't generating leads, wasn't ranking for any meaningful search terms, and didn't give potential customers a reason to call them over the competition.

The drywall trade across Clark and Cowlitz counties is competitive. Homeowners searching for drywall installation, repair, or texturing have plenty of options. AvilaCo needed a website that would establish them as the clear professional choice and a local SEO strategy that would put them in front of people actively searching for drywall services throughout Southwest Washington.

They also offered specialty services like decorative plaster, Fresco Harmony finishes, and popcorn ceiling removal that most competitors don't. None of that was visible online. There was a real opportunity to own those search terms if we built the right pages.

What We Built

We designed and developed a complete custom website from scratch on a modern tech stack, built for speed, SEO, and conversions.

Custom Website Design

We built a clean, professional site using Astro and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Cloudflare Pages for near-instant load times. The website design is mobile-first with a lead capture form above the fold, click-to-call functionality, and a layout that guides visitors toward requesting a quote.

The design reflects the quality of their craftsmanship: clean, precise, and professional. No template themes. Every page was built from scratch to match their brand and convert visitors into calls.

9 Dedicated Service Pages

Instead of cramming everything onto one generic "services" page, we built individual pages for each service AvilaCo offers. Each page is optimized for the specific search terms customers use when looking for that service.

11 Service Area Pages

We created dedicated local SEO landing pages for every city and community AvilaCo serves. Each page targets location-specific search terms like "drywall contractor in Camas WA" or "drywall repair Battle Ground WA" with unique, locally relevant content.

Blog Content & SEO

We wrote blog posts targeting informational search queries that homeowners ask before hiring a drywall contractor. Content like "signs your drywall needs repair", "what to know before your drywall installation", and "venetian plaster vs lime wash vs Fresco Harmony" builds topical authority and captures traffic from people early in the decision process. These posts link naturally to the relevant service pages, creating internal linking pathways that strengthen the entire site's SEO.

The Results

From 21 months of nothing to cited by Google AI in 90 days.

AvilaCo's previous website ranked for 2 keywords at its all-time peak and generated zero organic traffic for 21 straight months. We rebuilt the site, launched our local SEO program in February 2026, and Google noticed fast: AvilaCo is now appearing in AI Overviews, ranking in the Local Map Pack, and showing up on page one for high-intent searches across their service area.
