MPH programs publish their facts in different places and different units: per credit, per term, per year. We built MPHPrograms.net to read each school's own pages and put format, credits, GRE policy, application route, tuition, and CEPH accreditation on one row. Where a school states both a per-credit rate and a credit count, the site multiplies them into an estimated tuition figure and labels it that way.
The Problem
One school lists a per-credit rate, another a yearly figure, a third a program total, and public schools often quote residents and non-residents separately. A reader comparing MPH programs ends up doing arithmetic on a dozen tabs. The site multiplies a published per-credit rate by the credits a program requires, calls the result estimated tuition, and keeps the school's own tuition wording on the same page so resident and non-resident rates stay visible.
Accreditation needed the same discipline. CEPH status comes from the CEPH list itself, and a profile notes probation or applicant status when a school's page says so. Ranked lists state their measure above the list and follow it alone: cost lists order CEPH-accredited programs by estimated tuition, and size lists order schools by public health master's degrees awarded in IPEDS. Advertising is labeled and kept out of every ranking.
The Research Tools
Most MPH applicants are choosing between online programs, and most of them are trying to keep the debt down. The site ranks both questions on the same verified records.
Online programs
The online list covers 258 programs at 214 schools, 202 of them at CEPH-accredited schools, with a median of $686 per credit. Estimated tuition runs from $12,915 at UTHealth Houston for Texas residents to $116,640 for the Johns Hopkins part-time and online MPH. The page explains that CEPH has no separate online accreditation and flags the eight programs at schools still in CEPH's applicant stage.

The affordable ranking orders CEPH-accredited programs by estimated tuition, one per school, and says so above the list. It opens with the cheapest accredited rates (Georgia State at $464 per credit, Alabama at $480) and notes that a lower-priced school is left out because it is not CEPH-accredited. A second list shows programs that charge every state the same rate, so out-of-state students see what they would really pay.
