Beauty school research crosses several different records. A state board identifies approved or licensed schools. Federal education data adds measures such as completion and cost. A labor-market dataset describes the work available around a campus. We connected those records while preserving the source and meaning of each measure.
The comparison also has to account for the evidence a state actually publishes. The California page can use school-level written exam results. Other pages use federal completion measures or provide a directory. The ranking model records its basis and limitations, and the page explains them beside the schools.
A city page needs a narrower set of choices than a statewide list. We built the local layer from campus coordinates, city names and aliases, board records, and metro wage series. Separate city copy explains the market a reader is considering, while the shared data model keeps the underlying school facts consistent.
