Building spacecraft, studying planets, and operating space systems lead to different degree searches. We built SpaceStudiesPrograms.com to connect those routes without losing their field boundaries. The publication organizes 261 federal program records at 127 institutions across 41 states, with national, degree-level, and state rankings supported by official school research.
The problem
A space studies search can mean aerospace engineering, astronomy, planetary science, or space systems operations. We defined the federal field scope, organized the records into recognizable study routes, and retained the degree level inside the comparison. A reader can start with the part of the work that interests them and then investigate the appropriate programs.
The federal record also needs academic context. Program cards pair the reported data with official school research explaining coursework, projects, facilities, and degree structure where supported. State pages carry their own program mix and connect back to complete field rankings, so geography and subject remain useful ways to explore the same research.
