Education authority site · Kinesiology and exercise science

A kinesiology directory where every score keeps its public record attached.

Kinesiology programs share a federal field code while using names that range from exercise science to human performance. We built one comparison system that keeps those labels visible, scores like against like, and gives every state, degree level, and career question a focused page of its own.

The problem

The public record existed. The comparison did not.

Prospective students do not encounter one neatly named field. Schools publish kinesiology, exercise science, exercise physiology, human performance, and adjacent tracks under overlapping federal classifications. A generic top-ten list erases the difference, while raw IPEDS tables make the reader perform the comparison themselves.

The harder problem was fairness. Associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs report different signals and lead to different decisions. The site needed to compare programs inside the right peer group, show the numbers behind each result, and explain where public coverage ends.

The finished architecture treats the ranking as a research product. National pages establish the peer set, state pages narrow the geography, career guides explain the destination, and the methodology exposes the calculation holding it together.

The linkable spine

Every important claim has a page somebody can cite.

The site is not one oversized ranking. It is a set of focused resources, each tied to a real decision and backed by evidence visible on the page.

National ranking

A degree-level comparison before a top-school list

The bachelor’s ranking compares programs only with peers at the same award level. The score stays attached to its public inputs, so readers can see graduation rate, selectivity, earnings, and completions instead of taking an editorial number on faith.

Published methodology

The score can be audited without calling us

The methodology explains the peer groups, the weighted inputs, the curve, and the fields excluded when federal coverage is too thin. That makes the ranking useful to a program director who wants to understand placement and to an editor who needs a defensible source.

Career bridge

The degree is connected to the job it can actually lead to

The exercise physiologist guide connects a broad kinesiology degree to certification requirements, clinical-hour expectations, work settings, and BLS pay. It gives career counselors and prospective students a resource that answers the question rankings leave open: what happens after graduation?

The citation path

Source, useful page, natural linker.

Link earning starts with the person who would need the resource. The architecture makes that path explicit instead of publishing content first and hunting for a reason to promote it later.
