A nutrition degree can be online while the practice requirement that leads to a credential is not. We designed the site around that distinction, then joined school-level distance evidence, ACEND pathway records, federal program data, and career guidance without blurring what each source proves.
Scope
The problem
“Online nutrition program” hides several different decisions. A general nutrition science degree, a didactic dietetics program, a coordinated program, a dietetic internship, and a graduate program can all appear in the same search result even though they do not lead to the same credential outcome.
The word online creates a second source of confusion. Coursework may be fully remote while supervised practice is completed in person. Some programs help place that practice near the student and others require travel or local coordination. Calling all of those experiences simply online would be concise and wrong.
The solution was two connected systems: a public-data ranking for program comparison and an ACEND directory for credential routes. They share navigation and editorial standards, but each tells the reader exactly which source supports the claim on the page.

The site is not one oversized ranking. It is a set of focused resources, each tied to a real decision and backed by evidence visible on the page.
Credential directory
The coordinated-program directory reads ACEND’s current record and shows where coursework is online, where supervised practice still happens in person, and whether that practice can be arranged near the student. The page answers the distance-learning question without implying that a clinical requirement disappears.
