Local SEO for a Growing Chiropractic Practice
The Challenge
Atlas Wellness had the clinical expertise but struggled with digital visibility. Their website was outdated and didn't work well on mobile devices. It failed to communicate their patient-centered approach, and local competitors with better online presence were capturing patients who should have been theirs.
Chiropractic is a competitive local market. In most areas, there are a dozen or more practices within a short drive, and patients typically pick from whoever shows up first on Google. Atlas Wellness wasn't showing up at all. Their old site was slow, looked dated, and didn't give potential patients any reason to choose them over the chiropractor down the road. The Google Business Profile was barely set up, with only a few reviews and incomplete information.
They also had a differentiation problem. Atlas Wellness takes a genuinely patient-centered approach that sets them apart from high-volume chiropractic clinics. But none of that came through online. Their website looked like every other generic healthcare template, which made it impossible for potential patients to understand what made this practice different.
Our Solution
A trust-focused digital strategy centered on a new website that actually reflects who they are, paired with a local SEO campaign to put them in front of patients who are actively searching for chiropractic care.
Custom WordPress Website
I built a custom WordPress website designed around how patients actually look for and evaluate a chiropractor. The layout is clean and calming, not clinical or sterile. We used real photography from the practice instead of stock images, which immediately makes the site feel more trustworthy and personal.
Service pages explain each treatment type in plain language, covering what patients can expect during their visit. We also added content about the clinic's philosophy and approach, so potential patients can understand the difference before they walk in the door. The site loads fast, works perfectly on phones, and makes it obvious how to book an appointment.
Streamlined User Experience
When someone's in pain and looking for a chiropractor, they don't want to hunt for a phone number or figure out complicated navigation. We stripped away anything that got in the way of the two things patients want to do: learn about the practice and book an appointment.
Click-to-call is front and center on mobile. The appointment request form is simple and shows up in the right places without being pushy. Service information is organized logically so patients can find what they need in one or two clicks. Every design decision was made with the end user in mind, not aesthetics for aesthetics' sake.
Local SEO Campaign
We ran a focused local SEO campaign targeting high-intent searches like "chiropractor near me," "back pain chiropractor," and location-specific keywords for the cities they serve. We fully optimized their Google Business Profile with accurate categories, complete service listings, professional photos, and a review generation strategy that built up their star rating and review count.
We also built consistent citations across healthcare directories and local business listings, and created location-specific content on the site to strengthen their relevance for nearby searches. The goal was simple: when someone in the area searches for a chiropractor, Atlas Wellness shows up in the Map Pack.
The Results
Significant increase in new patient appointment requests through the website, with the site becoming a primary driver of new patient intake.
Top rankings in organic search and Google Maps for key chiropractic service terms in their area, including "chiropractor near me" and service-specific searches like "back pain chiropractor."
Established the clinic as the leading visible chiropractic provider in their community, with a Google Business Profile that now reflects the practice's quality and patient-first approach.
The most rewarding part of this project was watching the practice's real-world reputation finally match their online presence. Atlas Wellness was already doing great work for their patients. They just needed a digital presence that showed it. Now when someone in the area searches for a chiropractor, they find Atlas Wellness first, and the website gives them every reason to book that first appointment.
