The Anatomy of an Electrician Website That Books Jobs
An electrician’s visitors split into two people: the homeowner with a dead panel who needs a number in five seconds, and the one researching an EV charger or a remodel who needs proof you’re worth the quote. The design has to serve both:
- A phone number under every thumb. Emergency visitors don’t scroll. Tap-to-call sits in the header, the hero, and every section on the way down.
- Licensed, bonded, insured, above the fold. Electrical work is a trust purchase; the credentials that close it don’t hide on an about page.
- A page for every service. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, rewires, and troubleshooting each get their own page, because each is its own search and its own customer.
- Real crew, real trucks. Newman’s site converts partly because the people who show up at your door are the people on the site. Stock photos of models in hard hats read as fake, because they are.
- Quote paths for the planners. The EV and remodel audience compares bids, so estimate forms are short, obvious, and land in a tracked inbox, not a void.
The site is one half; the profile it feeds is the other. Newman’s Google Business Profile views grew 139.9% as the site and rankings matured.
