Drywall contractor Vancouver, WA Since 2026
A Five-Star Drywall Crew Finally Has a Website That Shows Their Work
Altus had 14 five-star Google reviews and a homepage without a single photo of their work. We rebuilt the site around the work itself.

Great Reviews, and a Website That Couldn't Back Them Up
Altus Drywall is a family-owned crew in Vancouver, WA that hangs, tapes, finishes and textures drywall for new homes, additions, ADUs and remodels across Clark and Cowlitz counties. Their customers say it best: 14 Google reviews, every one of them five stars, praising smooth walls, clean job sites and texture matches nobody else could pull off.
None of that showed up on their website. It was a five-page GoDaddy site. The homepage was a logo, a phone number and a bulleted list of services, and three job photos sat on a separate gallery page. There were no reviews, no quote form, and on a phone the menu ran off the edge of the screen.
Drywall is judged by how it looks. A homeowner comparing three contractors wants to see finished walls before they call, and Altus gave them almost nothing to look at.
The Same Company, Side by Side
Drag the handle to compare the old GoDaddy homepage with the site we launched on September 23, 2026. Same business, same phone number, same logo and brand colors.
A Website Built Around Real Altus Jobs
We kept what was already working, the name, the logo and the indigo brand, and rebuilt everything else around proof. Every photo on the site is from an Altus job. Every review is a real Google review.
Photos and Video of Their Own Work
The old gallery had three photos. The new Our Work page holds 29 project photos and 15 walkthrough videos from Altus jobs, filterable by installation, finishing and repairs. The homepage opens with a real job site and a "Step Inside a Project" video, so a visitor sees the quality before they read a word about it.
A Page for Each Service and County
The old site listed everything on one page. Now each service has its own page with its own quote heading, and each county Altus works in has a short page of its own:
Every Google Review in One Place
All 14 reviews now live on a dedicated Reviews page, and the best of them scroll across the homepage. The 5.0 rating sits right under the headline, so the first thing a homeowner learns is what Altus customers think.
A Quote Form That Takes Photos
Drywall is easier to quote when you can see it. The new form lets a homeowner attach up to five photos of the damage or the room, and every request lands in our lead dashboard with the page and search that brought it in. A Cloudflare Turnstile check keeps spam out, and a sticky Call and Quote bar follows visitors down the page on a phone.
Nothing Broke in the Move
Every address on the old site, from /home to /gallery, now redirects to its matching new page. Links on Google, in old emails and on their Business Profile all still land somewhere useful.
Faster, Lighter and Cleaner on a Phone
We ran Google's Lighthouse audit on the old GoDaddy homepage and the new one, both on a simulated phone, the day after launch. The old site was still being served from GoDaddy, so we could measure both sides the same way.
The Old Homepage Against the New One
Lighthouse scores out of 100, plus what a phone actually has to download before the page is usable.
| Measure | GoDaddy site | New site | Change | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Performance | 62 | 85 | +23 | Lighthouse |
| Accessibility | 96 | 100 | +4 | Lighthouse |
| Best Practices | 79 | 100 | +21 | Lighthouse |
| SEO | 92 | 100 | +8 | Lighthouse |
| Page weight | 3.2 MB | 1.2 MB | −62% | Lighthouse |
| Total blocking time | 410 ms | ≤ 20 ms | −95% | Lighthouse |
| Layout shift | 0.107 | 0 | none | Lighthouse |
The new site's performance score is the median of three runs (84, 85 and 85). Much of its remaining weight is the job photos and project video on the homepage, which we kept on purpose.
Lighthouse 12 mobile audits of altusdrywall.com, old GoDaddy site and new site, run 24 September 2026.
How the site is built
Built with Astro
A static-first framework that ships zero JavaScript by default. Pages arrive already built, so there is nothing for a phone to assemble before somebody can read them.
Hosted on Cloudflare
Served from the edge location nearest the visitor, so the site is as quick two states away as it is down the road. No server to manage, and nothing to fall over at 2am.
Core Web Vitals
Optimised images, minimal CSS and no render-blocking scripts. Run the site through Google's own PageSpeed Insights and see for yourself.
Schema markup
HomeAndConstructionBusiness and Service structured data on every page tells Google what Altus does and which counties it works in.
Altus already did the kind of work people write five-star reviews about. The old website just never showed it.
Now the first thing a homeowner sees is a finished Altus room, a 5.0 rating and a quote form.
